AACC Judges’ Forum features often controversial exclusionary rule

The Legal Studies Institute at Anne Arundel Community College presents “The Exclusionary Rule: Protecting the Innocent … and the Guilty” at its upcoming annual Forum on the Judiciary on the Arnold campus.

This popular free event for AACC students and the public runs from 6-8 p.m. April 13, in the Cade Center for Fine Arts Room 219.

Join judges from each Maryland court, a federal district court judge and a circuit court master as they discuss the roles of their respective court and the often controversial exclusionary rule. Participating are Chief Judge Robert M. Bell, Maryland Court of Appeals; Chief Judge Benson Everett Legg, U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland; Judge Timothy E. Meredith, Maryland Court of Special Appeals; Judge Laura Kiessling, Anne Arundel County Circuit Court; Chief Judge Ben C. Clyburn, District Court of Maryland; and Master in Chancery Cynthia M. Ferris, Anne Arundel County Circuit Court.
