GBC Next Up
A Rising Leaders Development Program sponsored by the GBC

Next Up is a member service program for GBC member companies and the young leaders in the company/organization. This program will aid in the personal and professional development of individuals identified by management as future organizational leaders, while exposing younger generations to GBC membership benefits and opportunities.

Accepted Next Up nominees will:

• Attend quarterly program events hosted by the GBC and headlined by regional business leaders, civic leaders, elected officials and GBC Board members
• Participate in events and opportunities with C-suite professionals
• Receive free entry to various GBC events and programs, and be provided the opportunity to participate on GBC policy committees

Participants will be:

• Aged 40 and under
• Currently in middle- to upper-management positions
• Individuals who demonstrate leadership within their organization, as well as in roles external to their organization (on boards, mentoring capacities, etc.)
• Identified by their supervisors as rising leaders within their organization

Entry into the program requires:

• Nomination by individual’s employer, which must be a GBC member company/organization
• Upon nomination, a completed application and supporting information for acceptance into the program
• A $350 admission fee, payable by the individual or their organization, due prior to the first event

There are a limited number of spaces available in the program.
