The Activate women’s technology entrepreneurship program in Columbia is recruiting for the class of 2014, which begins in February.
Activate is a successful, proven system for starting or growing a technology company. Activate will demonstrate the tools and skills needed to run a successful company, and introduce participants to the funding community, the entrepreneurship network, and the resources needed to build a sustainable, growing company.
The hands-on curriculum includes:
- Building your network
- Protecting your intellectual property
- Identifying high-potential business opportunities
- Profiling your customers
- Pricing and sales forecasting
- Legal considerations
- Dilutive and non-dilutive capital
- Presenting your business idea to investors
