Allstate Floors and Construction gains ranking on Inner City 100 list

Allstate Floors & Construction, a Baltimore company and GBC member, has been ranked 45th on Bloomberg Businessweek’s 2010 Inner City 100 list.

The annual list, compiled by the Boston not-for-profit Initiative for a Competitive Inner City, ranks the fastest-growing inner-city companies in the U.S. The initiative’s purpose is to identify high-growth companies as a way to showcase the competitiveness of inner city areas.

Companies on the list are ranked by compound annual growth rate from 2004 to 2008. Allstate Floors and Construction, which sells and installs commercial flooring, had $8.9 million in revenue in 2008 and a five-year growth rate of 219 percent. The company has been a GBC member since 2006.
