Fred Wolf III, a partner in the Real Estate Department at Ballard Spahr, has been elected chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mt. Washington Pediatric Foundation.
The Mt. Washington Pediatric Foundation is one of the major fundraising organizations that provide support to the Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital in Baltimore. The Hospital provides specialty health care for infants, children and adolescents, including the treatment of ailments such as developmental disorders, cerebral palsy, diabetes and physical trauma. The Hospital works with 7,000 patients a year at its two locations, in northwest Baltimore and at the Prince George’s Hospital Center in Cheverly, Md.
Wolf, who also serves on the Hospital’s Board, said, “The Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital serves children in need with expertise, respect, and integrity. I am honored to assume a leadership role with the Foundation in helping the Hospital to maintain its position as a leader in pediatric specialty health care.”
Wolf represents clients in a wide variety of real estate transactions, including structuring, negotiating, documenting and closing debt and equity financings. He has handled several hundred net lease transactions involving more than 50 different tenants in properties that include a 1.5 million square-foot manufacturing and research facility, a 600-acre intermodal rail facility, and a portfolio with 35 properties in nine states. Wolf has been named to The Best Lawyers in America for the past six years. He works in Ballard Spahr’s Baltimore office.
