Daniel P. Wilansky, associate in the Baltimore office of the law firm of Ballard Spahr LLP, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Maryland Youth Symphony Orchestra.
The Maryland Youth Symphony Orchestra brings together talented musicians from schools throughout the state to learn and perform major symphonic works. The Maryland Youth Symphony Orchestra has performed in schools, on television and in concert halls worldwide.
Wilansky is an associate in Ballard Spahr’s Public Finance Department and a member of the Housing Group and Transactional Finance Group. He has acted as underwriter’s counsel and bond counsel in tax-exempt bond financings and has represented lenders in commercial and real estate finance transactions. His experience also includes representing public housing authorities in the context of mixed-finance transactions.
