Baltimore businesses mix wellness and fun to cycle for young adults fighting cancer

The Greater Baltimore Committee will join the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults on September 15 as they host Cycle to Inspire, a half-day spinathon at M&T Bank Stadium. The Ulman Cancer Fund (UCF) is a GBC member and a Baltimore-based nonprofit that provides crucial support to thousands of young adults with cancer through direct services and programming.

Cycle to Inspire is an opportunity for Baltimore organizations to create teams of 10 that will each participate in one 45-minute spin session throughout the day. Local spin instructors will lead the sessions while teams compete to win the ‘Every Mile Matters’ award for the most miles covered and the ‘Every Dollar Counts’ award for the most money raised. The proceeds from this program will expand UCF’s young adult cancer services by providing patient navigator partner services for MedStar Health System in Baltimore.

Cycle to Inspire offers a great opportunity for employee engagement and corporate wellness, while allowing your organization to partner with UCF in directly serving the community in which we live and work. If you are interested in creating a team for your organization or would like more information on the event, please contact RJ Canning with the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults.
