Baltimore Development Corporation, others to present at GBC meeting

The Greater Baltimore Committee Built Environment and Sustainability meeting from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday will feature three presentations.

Baltimore Development Corporation President and CEO Brenda McKenzie will give an update of current BDC initiatives.

Peter Doo of Doo Consulting will give a presentation on the Living Building Challenge Collaborative.

Oz Bengur of Bengur Bryan & Co., Inc. will present on the Smart Growth Investment Fund.

The committee meeting is open to all GBC members. To RSVP, email Committee Coordinator Tara Harris at tarah@gbc.org. The meeting will be at the GBC offices at 111 S. Calvert St., suite 1700, in Baltimore.

The next GBC Built Environment and Sustainability meeting will be Wednesday, Sept. 17.

The Built Environment and Sustainability Committee reviews and analyzes significant real estate developments and urban design initiatives in our region. The committee makes recommendations and suggests policies that will serve as catalysts for better communities and examples of Smart Growth and sustainability.
