BGE is No. 1 in the region of the J. D. Power 2018 Business Customer Satisfaction Studies for electric and gas

Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE) ranks number one in customer satisfaction with Business Electric Service in the East among Large Utilities, two years in a row according to the J.D. Power 2018 Electric Utility Business Customer Satisfaction Study℠.

BGE ranked highest in the survey’s Large Utilities in the East Region with a score of 773, 24 points above the 11-company average of 749 for electric utility business customers. Companies are ranked on a 1,000-point scale.

This year, BGE also ranked highest in customer satisfaction with Business Natural Gas Service in the East. BGE ranked highest in the East Region with a score of 817, 36 points above the 14-company average of 781 for gas utility business customers. Companies are ranked on a 1000-point scale.

In both awards, BGE received the highest score in the following study factors: billing and payment; and communications. Additionally, in the Gas Business Study BGE received the highest score in the corporate citizenship study factor.
