College of Notre Dame of Maryland will host two events for prospective students in March. Graduate Studies will hold an open house on March 10 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Fourier Hall, Room 106, while Accelerated College and Weekend College will host an information session on March 12 at 6 p.m. in the Riley Room of Fourier Hall.
Graduate Studies programs are geared toward working adults and offer classes in the evenings and on the weekend. Programs are available in nursing, contemporary communication, leadership in teaching, liberal studies, management, nonprofit management, teaching and TESOL.
Admissions representatives from the School of Pharmacy also will be available to answer questions about applying for the inaugural class, which will begin in the fall.
Accelerated College allows students to complete a bachelor’s degree in nursing (RN to BSN) or business, part time, in as little as two-and-a-half years. The Accelerated elementary education program can be completed in approximately three years.
Weekend College, a part-time bachelor’s program for working adults, allows students to complete undergraduate degrees in career-oriented majors on the weekend but not every weekend. Weekend College majors include corporate communication, human services, radiological sciences, business, computer science, elementary education and religious studies.
