Comcast is proud to announce that Mary McLaughlin has been named “MSO Regional Executive of the Year” by Cablefax as part of the magazine’s 2018 Top Operators Awards that salutes both Multiple System Operators (MSOs) and Independent Cable Operators that bring content, technology, customer service and other innovative products to customers.
Based in Baltimore, MD, Mary serves as Senior Vice President of Comcast’s Beltway Region, which includes Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and parts of Delaware, West Virginia and North Carolina. She leads teams of more than 5,000 employees focused on transforming the customer experience and delivering Comcast’s best-in-class products to more than two million customers. Under her dedicated leadership, the Beltway Region has continued to grow and achieve remarkable business and customer service results, including ranking as a 2017 Top Workplace in Washington, D.C. and being honored as a Maryland Daily Record “2017 Innovator of the Year” for Xfinity Mobile.
Mary joined Comcast in 2006 as Area Vice President for New Hampshire and was later named Area Vice President for the Greater Boston South operating area. She has also served as Senior Vice President of Comcast’s Western New England Region.
Mary’s efforts have always extended beyond the workplace and into the community — she is on the University of Maryland Medical Center Board of Directors and the Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) Global Board of Directors. Before joining Comcast’s Beltway Region, she was co-chair and member of the Board of Directors of the Governor’s Prevention Partnership in Connecticut. She also served on the Vermont Business Roundtable and the Board of Directors for Connecticut Public Television.
We are very proud of the work Mary has done in and outside of Comcast and would love the opportunity to recognize her distinguished achievement in your publication.
