The Greater Baltimore Committee (GBC) congratulates Mark Anthony Thomas, President & CEO for being named as one of the Baltimore Sun’s 2023 Black Marylanders to Watch. He serves as the GBC’s first CEO since the merger with the former Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore.
Congratulations to GBC board members who were recognized, including Calvin Butler Jr. (Exelon Utilities and Chair of the GBC Board); Sashi Bown (Baltimore Ravens); and Janet Currie (Bank of America, Greater Maryland).
Several GBC member organization executives were also named, including Branville Bard Jr. (Johns Hopkins University); Lindsey Spann (University of Maryland); Al Hutchinson (Visit Baltimore); David Fakunle (Morgan State University); JT Timpson (Roca Baltimore); Stacey Stephens (University of Maryland, Baltimore); and Torrey Snow (WBAL Radio).
