CSD Architects is pleased to announce the promotion of Janet M. Reynolds, AIA to vice president and her appointment as secretary of its Board of Directors.
Reynolds joined CSD in 1998 and has specialized in the design of senior living facilities during her 10-year tenure with the firm. As project manager and project architect, Reynolds has worked on projects around the country in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Ohio, Louisiana and Michigan. She is an active member of several industry groups, including the American Association of Homes for the Aging, LifeSpan and the Pennsylvania Association of Non-Profit Homes for the Aging.
According to CSD president Dave Dillard, “Janet’s strong mix of creative design and practical insight are an asset to any project. Her industry knowledge and dedication will further strengthen the Firm as we strive to successfully meet the needs of both our clients and our employees.”
Reynolds looks forward to her new role, saying, “It’s an honor to work at a firm with such a long and proud tradition in local and national architecture. I am excited to continue my day-to-day work in the field of senior living design while also playing a key part in driving future growth for CSD.”
Reynolds holds a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Maryland at College Park and currently resides in Baltimore, Md. In addition to her new responsibilities, Reynolds will continue to serve as marketing director for the firm’s Senior Living Studio.
