Cyber-security, economic rebound prospects are focuses of GBC’s Oct. 20 ‘Outlook’ event

A panel of cyber security and economic experts will assess the potential impacts of cyber security issues on Maryland businesses, gauge prospects for a U.S. economic rebound, and discuss its likely characteristics at the Greater Baltimore Committee’s Economic Outlook Conference 2011 at 8 a.m. on October 20 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel.

Featured speakers at the event are cyber security experts Karl Gumtow, CEO CyberPoint International LLC, Harry D. Raduege, Jr., chairman of the Deloitte Center for Cyber Innovation.

Featured speakers on the fate of the economy will be Kevin A. McCreadie, president and chief investment officer, PNC Capital Advisors, and Hugh Warns III, director of research, Stifel Nicolaus.

The popular annual GBC event, which features detailed analysis and forecasts, is expected to attract more than 300 executives and business owners.
