The Daily Record is honoring Maryland’s Innovators of the Year during an event Oct. 2 at the American Visionary Art Museum. Tickets are still available. Do not miss this opportunity to celebrate 25 of the state’s top innovators. Please join The Daily Record for a wonderful night of networking, followed by dinner and an awards presentation.

Innovators make the extraordinary ordinary. They make the impossible possible. In many ways, they turn dreams into realities. Hailing from fields as diverse as technology, education, community work and health, their work heralds new frontiers for how we live, work, play and give back in the 21st century. The Innovator of the Year award shines a light on the men and women who have created new products, services or programs that have improved their fields. The Daily Record is searching for Maryland innovators whose achievements have been realized between June 2011 and June 2013.

Winners were announced August 16. To be considered for the 2013 awards, the company’s innovation must have been created or implemented between Jan. 1, 2012 and July 31, 2013. The Daily Record is proud to note its Innovator of the Year award is independently judged. Winners are selected solely based on merit.
