Don Fry to question candidates at democratic gubernatorial forum Thursday, April 17

All three Maryland Democratic Gubernatorial Candidates have agreed to appear at SECU Arena at Towson University at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 17.

Panelists to be questioning the candidates include Dr. Maravene Loeschke, President – Towson University, Donald Fry, President & CEO – Greater Baltimore Committee, Sam DiPaola, President – SunTrust Bank Baltimore, Scott Dorsey, Chairman & CEO – Merritt Properties, Inc., Jerry Wit, Chairman – Maryland Business for Responsible Government.

Representatives for the Brown, Gansler and Mizeur campaigns have agreed on a format which will allow each candidate the opportunity to respond to questions asked by a panel representing the Greater Baltimore Economic Forum. One candidate at a time will appear in the arena before the audience and will respond to a series of five (5) questions presented by the panel. The other candidates will not hear the responses by the other candidates as they await their turn outside the auditorium.

The forum was organized and is being presented by the Greater Baltimore Economic Forum in concert with Towson University. The GBEF has been presenting business oriented forums for 27 years since 1987 with speakers including United States Senators, Maryland Governors, Industrial leaders, Bankers and Major Maryland Institutional Leaders.

There is no cost for admission.
