Eleven Ballard Spahr attorneys named best lawyers

Eleven Ballard Spahr attorneys in Maryland have been included in the 2014 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, regarded as one of the definitive guides to the country’s leading attorneys.

Charles R. Moran, a partner in the firm’s business and finance department, was named a best lawyer in three practice areas: corporate compliance law, corporate governance law, and corporate law.

Jon M. Laria, managing partner of Ballard Spahr’s Baltimore office, was named a best lawyer in real estate law and in land use and zoning law. Real estate partner Thomas A. Hauser was named a best lawyer in real estate law and in securitization and structured finance law.

Ballard Spahr partners Paul K. Casey, Christopher J. Fritz, Mark Pollak, Raymond G. Truitt and Fred Wolf III were named best lawyers in real estate law, while partner Douglas M. Fox was named a best lawyer in corporate law. Truitt is the firm’s managing partner for finance and operations.
