Ellin & Tucker CPA featured presenter at Towson conference


Aileen Eskildsen, CPA, director and professional development coordinator at Ellin & Tucker, Chartered was a presenter at the recently held Women in Leadership Conference held in Towson University’s Chesapeake Room.

This program, which featured local businesswomen, focused on increasing the leadership capacity of female students and preparing them for success in the workplace. Eskildsen’s presentation topic was “Creating Financial Stability After Graduation.”

Eskildsen, a graduate of Towson University, oversees the career development of Ellin & Tucker professionals with one to 10 years of experience. She directs the firm’s continuing education, training and mentoring programs to ensure these professionals are receiving the support they require to develop both technically and as professionals.

Eskildsen is also responsible for the firm’s recruiting committee which focuses on the recruitment of accounting professionals from area universities. She has more than 17 years of experience with Ellin & Tucker, and prior to becoming the professional development coordinator, was in the firm’s Audit, Accounting, and Consulting Department where she was responsible for managing the audit, accounting and management advisory services for a number of the firm’s clients. Eskildsen is also a member of the Towson University Accounting Advisory Board.

Ellin & Tucker, Chartered also announced Lisa Loi has been promoted to senior in the Audit, Accounting and
Consulting Department.

Loi’s responsibilities include assisting on reviews and compilations of financial statements for clients involved in the construction, manufacturing, not-for-profit and service industries, as well as processing tax returns.

Loi graduated from Stevenson University and holds an Advanced Accounting Certification from University of Maryland University College.
