Steve Manekin, CPA and director in the Audit, Accounting and Consulting Department at Ellin & Tucker, Chartered was featured along with two of his colleagues at three events in the Greater Baltimore-D.C. area, touching on financial- and accounting-related matters.
Alan Brickel, a manager in the same department at the firm, was a featured speaker along with Manekin at the D.C. Bar Association’s Business Law Training Series held in Washington, D.C. Their program entitled “Accounting and Fiscal Controls” was presented to small, closely held business owners from the Washington metropolitan area and was one of eight sessions offered in the training series.
Manekin and Jenelle Conaway, CPA, MBA, and a senior in the same department, were recently featured speakers at the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s Solo and Small Business School CLE Conference and Webcast held at their National Office in Washington, D.C. Their program entitled “Financial Boot Camp for Immigration Practitioners” was presented to new practitioners as well as seasoned veterans, was attended by approximately 65 individuals, in person, and approximately 215 by webcast.
Manekin and Conaway were also recently featured speakers at the Baltimore County Bar Association’s Continuing Legal Education Program entitled “Basic Accounting for Lawyers” held at the Baltimore County Courts Building. The program was attended by approximately 20 attorneys and filmed for later viewing.
