The 2014 Chesapeake Conference of CEOs will feature interactive work groups, panel experts and group discussions to produce actionable goals to strengthen the competitiveness of Baltimore City, the region and the state of Maryland over the next five years.

This conference is part of a greater effort that has been underway since 2010 when the GBC published Gaining the Competitive Edge: Keys to Economic Growth and Job Creation in Maryland followed by the 2013 Chesapeake Conference of CEOs publication A Compact for Competitiveness: Developing Shared Strategies for Maryland Competitiveness.

The GBC is expecting approximately 75 CEOs, presidents and senior-level executives to participate in this event.  After the event we will produce a final report of findings and recommendations from the event that will be distributed to all attendees as well as the general business community.

If you have any questions or are interested in sponsoring this event, please contact Sara Garbarino, director of special projects, at (410) 727- 2820, ext. 29 or sarag@gbc.org.
