DESCRIPTION:As a follow-up to the unveiling of the Regional Economic Scorecard at the 2026 State of the Region\, the Greater Baltimore Committee is pleased to invite our partners and the broader community to a virtual briefing on the key insights shaping the Baltimore Region’s economy. \nOriginally launched in 2024 to provide a clearer view of investment and growth across the region\, the Scorecard offers a data-driven perspective on the trends influencing Baltimore’s economic trajectory. Following its introduction to regional leaders and investors\, we are excited to now share these findings more broadly with GBC partners and interested stakeholders. \nDuring this virtual session\, we will explore: \n\nCapital flows across the Baltimore Region\, including real estate\, private equity\, and venture activity\nSector momentum – where growth is accelerating and which industries are leading\nForeign direct investment and interstate capital trends shaping the regional economy\nPublic company data and firm location patterns\, including attraction and retention dynamics\nWhat the data signals about where the market is heading and where we should focus next\n\nWe look forward to continuing the conversation around the region’s economic future and sharing these insights with the wider Baltimore community. \nThis briefing will be held virtually.
