William W. Heintzelman, president, Evergreen.cfo., LLC has been named chair of the Greater Baltimore Committee’s Emerging Business Council. Heintzelman is also principal of McLean, Koehler, Sparks & Hammond,
The GBC Emerging Business Council serves as a voice for small business by studying and developing positions pertaining to issues affecting emerging businesses in the Baltimore region.
“It has been a challenging 18 months for small businesses in the Baltimore region. We are just starting to see a bit of light at the end of the tunnel,” Heintzelman said. “The GBC staff and its Emerging Business Council volunteers are working tirelessly to assist the small business community in providing platforms such as an e-commerce peer-to-peer business exchange through its newly revamped web portal and the most recent small business summit, which focused on key business challenges affecting the small business community.”
Heintzelman has more than 20 years of financial leadership working with early stage, high growth and distressed companies as well as multi-billion dollar organizations. He advises clients on business strategy, financial and operational strategies, restructuring, financing, developing and implementing business plans, internal controls and reporting, cash flow management, budget preparation and other profitability and business development analyses.
