Fraser Smith to speak at College of Notre Dame

“Anonymous Heroes: Civil Rights in Maryland” is the topic of a lecture to be given by journalist C. Fraser Smith on September 30, at 7 p.m. in Knott Auditorium.

The lecture is based on his book “Here Lies Jim Crow: Civil Rights in Maryland.”

Smith writes a weekly column in the Daily Record and also serves as WYPR’s news director. He worked at the Baltimore Sun for more than 25 years, serving as a reporter, editorial writer and columnist. He has won numerous awards over the years, from organizations such as UPI New England, Sigma Delta Chi and Maryland-Delaware-DC Press Association.
