Automotive expertise doesn’t come cheap, but AAA Mid-Atlantic is giving it away during October for National Car Care Month.
It’s a perfect time for Maryland motorists, both AAA members and non-members alike, to:
• Prolong vehicle reliability
• Increase performance
• Potentially save hundreds of dollars on a big repair bill
“Our intention is to help motorists navigate these tough economic times with their cars intact,” said Ragina C. Averella, Manager of Public & Government Affairs at AAA Mid-Atlantic. “Our free events are a perfect opportunity to get solid, expert car care advice at a time when many of us can’t afford an unreliable car.”
Throughout October, AAA Mid-Atlantic is providing a series of free 40-Point Car Care check-ups throughout the region. Additionally, the auto club is offering free windshield chip repair through its Mobile Auto Glass Service at nearly a dozen Car Care events, including one in the Baltimore area at: Wawa convenience store, 8731 Pulaski Highway (between I-695 and Rossville Blvd.), Rosedale, Md. 21237 on October 13 from 8-10:30 a.m.
The timing is just right: The American car fleet has never been older, and more and more motorists are neglecting routine maintenance, leaving cars more susceptible than ever to breakdowns and costly repairs.
AAA Mid-Atlantic’s free 40-Point check-up includes the following, as well as many others:
• Power steering, transmission and brake fluid levels
• Inspection of belts and pulleys
• Radiator, defroster and heater
• Tires and battery
After AAA’s experts complete the free 40-Point check-up, motorists will receive advice and a diagnostic report documenting issues identified by AAA automotive experts.
Find event locations and times for AAA Mid-Atlantic’s entire region here. Motorists who cannot attend an event still can locate a participating AAA Approved Auto Repair Shop to make an appointment for their free 40-Point check.
AAA Mid-Atlantic’s Car Care events are for all motorists, not just AAA members. Motorists seeking more information should call 1-866-MEMBERS, or e-mail AAA Mid-Atlantic.
