Free Fall Baltimore returns for October 2017 Baltimore offers hundreds of free arts and cultural activities

Join in the fun with Free Fall Baltimore! The 12th annual Free Fall Baltimore presented by BGE returns October 1 through October 31, 2017. A program of the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts, Free Fall Baltimore offers hundreds of free arts and cultural events for the whole family throughout the month of October at participating venues throughout Baltimore City. Held in conjunction with National Arts and Humanities Month, area attractions and organizations showcase the importance of the arts with free concerts, dance and theater performances, festivals, lectures, workshops, art exhibitions, tours, special events and more. A full schedule of events and participating organizations can be found here. Free Fall Baltimore is produced by the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts (BOPA) and presented by BGE with additional support from Atapco Properties and the Henry and Ruth Blaustein Rosenberg Foundation.

Some of the free events included in Free Fall Baltimore this year include Free Fall Friday Night, granting free admission to the National Aquarium, Dance Master Class Series hosted by The Collective, performances of Iron Crow Theatre’s The Cradle Will Rock and Julius Caesar by the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, a prose poetry writing workshop by EMP Collective, free yoga and classical music at Sherwood Gardens, a free performance by the Peabody Modern Orchestra and more. Some events have limited capacity and are first come, first serve in terms of attendance, or require advance registration.
