GBC announces January, February and March Newsmaker Breakfast series events

Registration is now open for the Greater Baltimore Committee’s January, February and March Newsmaker Breakfast series events.

The January 31 Newsmaker Breakfast will focus on “Impact of Federal Income Tax Reform on Maryland and Business/Personal Taxes.” Register to attend.

This Newsmaker Breakfast is open to GBC members and non-members.

The February 28 Newsmaker Breakfast will focus on “Celebrating the Life of Thurgood Marshall – A Baltimore Hero.” Register to attend.

This Newsmaker Breakfast is open to GBC member companies and employees of GBC member companies.

The March 8 Newsmaker Breakfast will focus on “Baltimore City’s Plan to Reduce Crime and Improve Public Safety.” Register to attend.

This Newsmaker Breakfast is open to GBC member companies and employees of GBC member companies.

A second March Newsmaker Breakfast, on March 21, will feature William E. “Brit” Kirwan, former Chancellor of the University System of Maryland and Chair of the Maryland Commission on Innovation and Excellence in Education, commonly referred to as the Kirwan Commission. He will discuss the current ranking of Maryland schools in the United States and internationally as well as preliminary findings of his commission.
