GBC bets crab feast on Ravens Super Bowl win

The Greater Baltimore Committee is betting a crab feast that the Ravens will win the Super Bowl.

The GBC, comprised of business leaders from Baltimore City and five surrounding counties in the region, has a friendly bet with the Bay Area Council, the business-sponsored public policy organization for the San Francisco Bay region.

The GBC is betting a Baltimore crab feast — with all of the trimmings, including steamed crabs, Maryland crab soup, Old Bay products and Berger cookies for dessert — that the Ravens will win this Sunday’s Super Bowl. Our counterparts in San Francisco’s bet on the 49ers includes Dungeness crab, Napa Valley wine from Trefethen & Gallo, microbrews from Half Moon Bay, Boudin sourdough bread and Ghirardelli chocolate.

Go Ravens!
