The Greater Baltimore Committee has launched a new Web site for its Bridging the Gap Achievement Awards Ceremony on October 8.
The new Web site will be used as a communication tool to inform business, community and political leaders about the annual ceremony honoring businesses in the following categories:
• Minority/Women-Owned Business that has demonstrated outstanding achievement
• Majority-Owned Business – corporations or individual executives that have shown leadership in the area of inclusive business practices
• Partnership or Strategic Alliance that generates new business opportunities for minority or women-owned businesses.
• NEW! – Minority Business Champion – individual who has worked tirelessly to advocate for the advancement of minority and women-owned businesses in the Greater Baltimore region
Web site users can easily locate information on topics including last year’s achievement award winners, award nomination requirements, event details, and sponsorship opportunities. A “What’s New” section will provide timely articles and details about successful minority and women-owned business development in the region.
