GBC seeks nominations for Bridging the Gap Achievement Awards and Mayor’s Business Recognition Awards

The Greater Baltimore Committee is now seeking nominations for its upcoming award ceremonies.

The Bridging the Gap Achievement Awards will be held on November 17 at the Sheraton Baltimore City Center Hotel. Outstanding businesses in the following categories will be recognized:

Minority/Women-Owned Business that has demonstrated outstanding achievement.
Majority-Owned Business – corporations or individual executives that have shown leadership in the area of inclusive business practices.
Partnership or Strategic Alliance that generates new business opportunities for minority or women-owned businesses.
President’s Award – individual who has worked tirelessly to advocate for the advancement of minority and women-owned businesses in the Greater Baltimore region.

The Mayor’s Business Recognition Awards will be held on December 5 at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore. This event will honor businesses that have demonstrated significant corporate leadership and service for a better Baltimore and have committed resources to improving the quality of life in Baltimore City. Submit your nomination form to Chris Fabula, 410-539-5705.

Nomination forms for both events must be accompanied with supporting documentation to be considered. Self-nominations are permitted. The deadline for nominations has been extended to October 28.
