The Greater Baltimore Committee staff has met its goal of 100 percent participation in the United Way of Central Maryland’s 2014-15 pledge drive.

The GBC’s contribution to the United Way will help the nonprofit continue to work toward achieving its vision of a community where all central Marylanders have the opportunity to attain a quality education, financial stability and good health.

“The GBC staff’s participation in the pledge drive shows we recognize the United Way’s vital role in the Greater Baltimore region when it comes to providing education, financial assistance and health services to those in our region who are less fortunate,” said GBC President and CEO Donald C. Fry.

This year’s United Way campaign is headed by Andy Bertamini, regional president of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., and a member of the GBC’s Board of Directors.
