GBC supports bill creating Maryland Innovation Initiative

Last week, the GBC offered testimony supporting HB 442, an administration bill creating the Maryland Innovation Initiative within the Maryland Technology Development Corporation to better promote technology transfer from research institutions to private sector commercialization.

In order to bridge this gap, Maryland must alter the research landscape to better capitalize on tech transfer opportunities, the GBC contends in urging members of the House Economic Matters Committee members to support the bill.
