A panel of experts will discuss “McCain vs. Obama: How the Candidates’ Economic & Tax Policies Impact Business & Economic Growth” at the Greater Baltimore Committee’s Business Outlook 2009, to be held at 7:30 a.m. November 3 at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel.
Each year the Business Outlook Conference focuses on the economic prospects for the year ahead or concentrates on a particular business or industry segment and highlights the effects of changes or developments in the economy. This year will focus on presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama and their views on economic policy in their campaigns for the presidency.
“Since the event will be held on election eve and the economy is still the biggest issue on the minds of American voters, it will be interesting to highlight the differences in the candidates’ economic proposals,” said GBC president and CEO Donald C. Fry. “It’s important to get a sense of perspective in understanding what’s economically viable and what advanced ideas will have an impact.”
