GBC’s 2016 Economic Outlook Conference to focus on Industries of the Future and Post-Election Economy

The Greater Baltimore Committee’s 2016 Economic Outlook Conference on October 17 will focus on preparing for the future economy locally and nationally, as well as the potential effect the November elections may have on the economy.

WhoAlec Ross, a technology policy expert, former Senior Adviser for Innovation to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and author of The New York Times bestseller The Industries of the Future, will discuss the effect breakthrough research and innovations may have on jobs and the economic landscape.

Anirban Basu, Chairman & CEO of  the Sage Policy Group, Inc., an economic and policy consulting firm in Baltimore, will discuss the current and potential future state of the local and regional economy and any possible affects on the economy as a result of the November election.
