GBC’s Adriel Hilton among Ebony Magazine’s 2009 ‘Young Leaders’

Adriel Hilton, the GBC’s public policy fellow, has been named to Ebony magazine’s national list of 2009 “Young Leaders.”

Hilton is among 21 U.S. men and women under 30 profiled in Ebony’s April edition for “excelling in their careers and giving back to their communities.” Hilton, who joined the GBC staff in September 2007, recently earned his Ph.D. in Higher Education at Morgan State University.

Ebony magazine notes his community service activities, which include serving on the speakers bureau advisory board of the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education, the foundation board of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Baltimore Alumni Chapter, and on the advisory board of the National African American Student Leadership Conference. Hilton also teaches at Baltimore City Community College.
