Girl Scout Cookies on sale at Baltimore-area WaWa stores Oct. 25-26

Baltimore, Md. – Oct. 22, 2014 – It’s that time of year that most people in the Baltimore-area look forward to – Girl Scouts selling delicious Girl Scout Cookies at local malls, grocery stores and businesses. Booth sale season begins Oct. 24 and runs through Dec. 10, 2014. During that time customers can purchase Girl Scout Cookies directly from Girl Scouts. This weekend – Oct. 25-26 – several local WaWa markets are making their storefronts available to local Girl Scouts between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to kick-off Girl Scout booth sale season. The Girl Scout Cookie sale provides girls with a myriad of leadership and business skills they will use throughout their lives. In addition, it provides funding for a variety of community service projects that Girl Scout troops implement.
