Harborplace & The Gallery, located at 200 East Pratt Street in Baltimore, Md., announced March 29 the summer opening of IT’SUGAR: a trendy, novelty candy shop. The new store, approximately 3,100 sq. ft., will occupy a space on the first floor of the Pratt Street Pavilion, adjacent to original Harborplace tenant, Fire & Ice. This sweet addition joins other new tenants at Harborplace & The Gallery for 2011 including: Francesca’s Collections (now open in The Gallery), Lenny’s Deli (opening dpring 2011 in the Pratt Street Pavilion) and H&M (opening dpring 2011 in the Light Street Pavilion).
“We are extremely excited this year to welcome the international candy sensation, IT’SUGAR, to our roster of exciting shopping and dining options,” said Christopher Schardt, senior general manager of Harborplace & The Gallery. “Providing a unique variety of shopping and dining destinations for our consumers is just the first step in an organizational plan to redefine what it means to shop at Harborplace & The Gallery.”
To make room for IT’SUGAR, LaTasca, a popular tapas bar which opened in 2004, will consolidate and redesign their Spanish restaurant to be completely located on Level 2 of Pratt Street Pavilion with an anticipated re-opening date of April 25.
