2013 New Tax Legislation and Health Care Update & How to Use Joint Ventures to Capture Federal Government Opportunities
McLean, Koehler, Sparks & Hammond (MKS&H), a CPA and business consulting firm specializing in government contracting for small businesses, along with strategic partner, Amadeo Law Firm, will present a February seminar focusing on the changing tax landscape for small businesses and joint venturing initiatives for 2013.
The breakfast seminar will be held on Thursday, February 7 at Ceresville Mansion in Frederick, Md.
The seminar is designed to provide small business owners and leaders information on the new tax legislation approved by the Congress on January 2, as well as discuss the provisions of the health care law that will effect businesses in 2013. Additionally, it will discuss the rules on joint ventures that enable businesses to form strategic teaming relationships to secure federal government contracts. It will also cover opportunities for joint ventures to win contracts set aside for small businesses, including 8(a), HUBZone, service-disabled veteran-owned, and women-owned small businesses.
The seminar will begin at 8 a.m. with networking and breakfast and end at 11 a.m. after a question and answer session with the speakers.
