Katie McClammer joined Business Volunteers Unlimited Maryland (BVU) as Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications, announced BVU Executive Director Kelly Hodge-Williams. In this position, McClammer will coordinate BVU’s external communications initiatives, including program promotion, digital support, publicity and a 10-year anniversary celebration plan.
“Katie’s extensive marketing expertise with both large and small businesses, and her involvement in the community will make her successful in promoting BVU’s mission and programs,” Hodge-Williams said. “Katie will lead our efforts in analyzing the environment for our services, understanding our constituents’ needs, and crafting our communications to businesses, nonprofits and individuals.”
Prior to joining BVU, McClammer was in consumer goods product management at McCormick & Company, start-up B2B marketing at Community Analytics and financial operations at Legg Mason. She is a frequent guest lecturer at Towson University and is secretary of the Friends of Great Kids Farm board. She was also a founding member of the Leadership Development Roundtable for the Greater Baltimore Technology Council.
McClammer received her B.S. in Business Administration from Towson University and her M.S. in Marketing from The Johns Hopkins University.
