McCormick’s Response to COVID-19

April 1, 2020

McCormick has a long legacy of supporting the communities where we live, work, and source. During this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, it’s more important than ever to do our part in helping to provide the critical needs of our communities.

As part of our global response to COVID-19, McCormick recently committed to supporting charitable organizations in nearly 20 countries where we operate. We will be partnering with the local food banks and food focused charities that joined our global hunger-relief drive to commemorate our 130th anniversary in late 2019. Our support will go directly towards providing meals to individuals and families in need.

McCormick is also responding to local community requests for support. Several of our U.S. and International business units provided financial and product donations to help local healthcare workers and start up organizations producing much needed hand sanitizer. To support the hard-hit restaurant community, McCormick will be contributing to a fund to help restaurant employees and their families in areas where McCormick operates. We’ve also donated condiments to area restaurants still open for carryout and delivery.

We understand the enormous need that exists today as this pandemic continues to impact people around the world and we are committed to doing our part. These efforts would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of our 12,000 employees. We must all continue to stand together during these extraordinary times. Together as a global community, we will get through this.
