Goltser has worked in higher education financial aid at both public and private colleges, previously serving as director of financial aid at Notre Dame of Maryland University.

Westminster, Md. – Zhanna Goltser has been named director of financial aid at McDaniel College. Throughout her career, she has worked in higher education financial aid at both public and private institutions.
At McDaniel, she oversees the college’s financial aid program of federal, state and institutional aid. More than 90 percent of students at McDaniel receive some type of financial assistance, and the college invests more than $30 million annually in grants and scholarships.
Formerly director of financial aid at Notre Dame of Maryland University, Goltser also worked in financial aid at UMBC. She has been an active member of student financial aid professional organizations, including the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, Eastern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators and the Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. She is also frequently invited to speak on financial aid and scholarships.
About joining McDaniel, she said, “Working at a liberal arts university has truly broadened my skills as a financial aid administrator. I look forward bringing my experience to McDaniel and supporting students and parents as they navigate the process of applying for financial aid.”
She has a master’s degree from the University of Baltimore’s Merrick School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from UMBC. Goltser resides in Marriottsville, Md.
