McDaniel College names two new members to its board of trustees

McDaniel College has named Stephen (Steve) R. Chapin, Jr., of Leesburg, Va., and Keith Swain of Winnetka, Ill., to its Board of Trustees.

Stephen (Steve) R. Chapin, Jr., of Leesburg, Va., is an entrepreneur with more than 20 years of business leadership experience. He is currently the owner of JARS Residential Properties, which owns and manages more than 1,500 apartments throughout the Southeast. Keith Swain of Winnetka, Ill., is the group president of Marmon Retail Products, a Berkshire Hathaway Company. He is a 1990 alumnus of McDaniel with a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration. He is also a graduate of the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University.
