Westminster, Md. – MONEY magazine has ranked McDaniel College among “The 50 Best Liberal Arts Colleges” released July 13.

McDaniel is also in the top quarter among the nation’s “Best Colleges” “that provide the best value for your tuition dollar,” according to MONEY.

Additionally, McDaniel has also been named among “The Best 50 Colleges That You Can Actually Get Into.”

According to MONEY, McDaniel earned a B+ value-added grade and the college has a 72 percent graduation rate.

MONEY looked at the nation’s approximately 1,500 four-year colleges and universities, screening out schools with graduation rates below the median as well as those facing financial difficulties, for their “Best Colleges” list. The remaining schools were then ranked on 21 factors, including affordability, educational quality and alumni earnings.

In addition to MONEY, McDaniel has been named a “Best Value” by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance for four consecutive years and ranked at the top of Washington Monthly’s “Best Bang for the Buck” list for liberal arts colleges for the second year in a row. McDaniel also continues to be recognized among the first tier of national liberal arts colleges by U.S. News.
