Morton P. Fisher, Jr., senior counsel at Ballard Spahr LLP, was named one of the most highly regarded individuals in the international Who’s Who of Real Estate Lawyers 2009. He is one of only 11 individuals on this year’s list of 467 attorneys worldwide to earn the “most highly regarded” distinction.
The annual list of honorees is published by Who’s Who Legal. The attorneys included are selected based on a comprehensive, independent survey of general counsel and private practice real estate lawyers.
A former chair of the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust and Probate Section and the former managing partner of Ballard Spahr’s Baltimore office, Fisher has more than 40 years’ experience in real estate. He is a former president of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and a frequent lecturer on real estate matters for the American Law Institute-American Bar Association and Practising Law Institute. Fisher is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Yale Law School.
