Morton’s The Steakhouse in Baltimore hosts “Beyond the Grape,” a special five-course eco-friendly wine and spirits dinner on May 20, with a reception at 6 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. The dinner is led by Sharon Charny from The Charmer Sunbelt Group who will take guests through the reasons, challenges, and successes of producing certified organic, biodynamic and sustainably farmed wines and spirits. The event also features a live auction to benefit the American Red Cross of Central Maryland.
Cost to attend is $99 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity, and reservations can be made by calling 410-547-8255.

According to Judi DiGioia, sales and marketing manager at Morton’s in Baltimore, “It is becoming more important to more people to buy eco-friendly products, including wine and spirits. Consumers, especially, want to know where their foods are coming from and that they are eating fresh and healthy products, not made with pesticides and fertilizers.
“In addition, we are offering this special event at $99 per person to allow more people to learn about and discover eco-friendly wine and spirits. We are also excited to partner with the American Red Cross, a strong community-based organization.”
Morton’s The Steakhouse is located at 300 South Charles Street in Baltimore. Dinner is served Monday through Saturday from 5:30 p.m. – 11 p.m. and Sunday from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. Valet parking is available.
