Pennoni Associates, an ENR Top 100 engineering, design and consulting firm, is pleased to announce Graeme Lake, PE, has been promoted to municipal division manager in the firm’s Columbia, Md., office. He previously served as a senior engineer in Columbia.
“Graeme is a proven leader and the natural choice to manage municipal operations in our Columbia office,” said regional vice president Ron Moore. “We look forward to seeing him continue his record of excellent client service and grow the municipal division.”
Lake has 39 years of professional experience in civil, structural, and sanitary/environmental engineering management and design for such clients as the Smithsonian Institution, the Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Navy and many other federal and municipal agencies. He is a licensed professional engineer in Maryland, as well as in South Africa. His projects have included water and wastewater conveyance, pumping stations, and water and wastewater storage facilities.
Lake has vast experience in inspection, condition assessment, rehabilitation design and construction of large diameter pipelines. He has managed and coordinated design team activities including feasibility investigations, preliminary design and final design, construction document preparation, NPDES, Wetland Joint Permit, and other permitting applications and construction inspection of projects.
