Pulse of the Region | October 2022

After a months-long national search for a new, visionary leader, the Greater Baltimore Committee (GBC) announced October 14 that it selected Mark Anthony Thomas as its new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mark has more than two decades of experience leading economic development and public-private partnerships in large metropolitan areas and will now bring that expertise to Baltimore City.

We look forward to the next chapter of economic realization in Baltimore under Mark’s visionary leadership.
