R. Christopher Rosenthal, a director in the Forensic and Valuation Services Group at Ellin & Tucker, Chartered, has recently been awarded the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) Credential by the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils (NAEPC).
This credential is awarded by the NAEPC to recognize estate planning professionals who meet stringent requirements of experience, knowledge, education and professional reputation and character. The NAEPC is a national organization of professional estate planners and affiliated local Estate Planning Councils focused on establishing and monitoring the highest professional and educational standards.
Rosenthal is the current chair of the Appraisal Foundation Advisory Council (TAFAC). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a past member of the Business Valuation Subcommittee, past Chairman of the National Business Valuation Conference, and a member of the Forensic and Valuation Services Section. He is a member of the Washington, D.C. and Maryland Chapters of the American Society of Appraisers and is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in Business Valuation. Rosenthal is also a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, of which he was also past Chairman of the Forensic and Valuation Services Committee. He is also been Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
