More than 60 GBC members attended the event to hear from Thomas E. Kelso, Chairman of the Maryland Stadium Authority, Tim Ritvo, COO of The Stronach Group, and Maryland Delegate Samuel I. (Sandy) Rosenberg, a champion in the Maryland General Assembly on issues pertaining to the racetrack and whose legislative district includes Pimlico Race Course.

The discussion focused on the future of the Preakness, Pimlico Race Course and the Maryland Stadium Authority’s study released February 24 about Pimlico Race Course and its ability to serve as the permanent home of the Preakness Stakes in Baltimore.
