Roland King III has joined the GBC staff as the Web site and communications coordinator. He will be responsible for all content management for the organization’s Web sites, as well as providing general support to the communications department.
“His experience with new media will enable King to play a key role as the GBC expands its Web site to meet the growing needs of its members,” said GBC president and CEO Donald C. Fry. “He will be a valuable asset to our communications team.”
Prior to joining the GBC, King worked as publications specialist for the American Red Cross Greater Chesapeake and Potomac Blood Services Region, where he produced and managed internal and external publications and design materials. He also acted as Webmaster for the region’s Web site.
Before earning a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications at Towson University, he worked as a lab and network manager for the University’s Mass Communications department.
