With the Inner Harbor in the center of downtown Baltimore it is no surprise when diners look for restaurants with a great view so they can enjoy good food at the same time they enjoy the beauty of the harbor.

The best view in Baltimore, however, may be at the Inner Harbor staple the Rusty Scupper.

OpenTable, an online restaurant reservation and review website, recently released its top 100 most scenic restaurants in America list for 2016. While states like California and Florida were well represented, the Rusty Scupper was the lone Baltimore representative to make the list.

The Hobbit Restaurant in Ocean City also made the alphabetical list.

The Rusty Scupper, which has been serving locals and tourists alike for more than 30 years, is situated right on the Inner Harbor across from Federal Hill. The two-story restaurant has nearly 500 seats spread across the main dining room, a bar lounge and the upper deck.

The eatery appropriately specializes in seafood but also boasts a jazz brunch, being named one of the top brunch restaurants in America by OpenTable in April.

OpenTable’s most scenic restaurant list was generated using more than 5 million reviews of over 20,000 restaurants from users between July 1, 2015, and May 31, 2016, taking into consideration reviews that noted the great view. Restaurants from 34 states made the list.
